The battery storage market is booming and NHOA Energy is a market leader in the industry, as such we have a need for a driven and enthusiastic site coordinator to join our growing UK team. We seek a person passionately committed to a sustainable energy future who will actively support the delivery of large-scale battery energy storage projects in execution. You will be based in the UK and part of the EMEA team reporting to the VP EMEA hierarchically, to the Head of Construction & Civil Engineering functionally and, coordinating with the Project Manager for any specific project. As Site Manager you will be responsible for NHOA’s on-site operations and work performance for the efficient and safe execution of the works. The successful candidate shall be an experienced site-based person, familiar with EPC contracts, industry best practices and technologies, and with a proven record of management and coordination of large-scale projects of BESS or similar MV projects. He/she will be preferably based close to project site(s), located close to London. To work most of the time on NHOA’s job sites and from home when not required to be on site, and available to travel to sites around the UK and, if required, other European countries. Main task and Duties: -Coordination of all workers, suppliers, and contractors on site for NHOA’s scope of work. -Act as the NHOA HSE on site representative, committed to the overall responsibility for Safety, Health, and Environment compliance and under the CDM regulations. -Management of documentation relating to the construction site. Update, record the project progress and ensure records and photos are kept. -Monitor progress against the programme and advise the Project Manager of any risks that will delay or hinder progress on the project. -Responsibility on all equipment delivery. Participate in incoming delivery inspections, ensuring all transportation damage is recorded and rectified and complete materials list for all incoming materials and equipment. The result of the inspections will be shared with logistics and saved as a quality record. -Carryout a daily briefing between with wider site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss the planned works for the day and record the briefing. -Ensure compliance with contractual requirements. -Carrying out the medium and long-term planning of the site activities and ensure all parties have the required information for these activities. -Plan, direct and control all site activities. -Supervision of NHOA’s installation, commissioning, and testing of the BESS as specified on client requirements. -Client liaison on site during client visits and updates on progress as required. -Manage and record all design changes or deviations and send to the design team. -You will also be responsible for reporting activities and be a point of contact for quality and HSE issues. Competencies and certifications preferable: -Strong knowledge of H&S and Environmental regulations for design and construction, Quality standards and industry best practice, -SMSTS ticket -CSCS card -Electrical Safety Training -Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) -Fluency in English, both spoken and written, additional languages as a plus. -Valid driving licence.
