What we´re looking for.
Gartner Digital Markets’ is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is eager to work in the API Platform team.
We fulfill all the shared data needs for all GDM Sites.
Our current focus area is GraphQL, the GraphQL API for all our product teams delivered through a unified data model.
In this role, you will work with a team of senior software engineers and mentor software engineers.
This position will include hands-on development and a close working relationship with product owners, senior software engineers, and product teams to build API for our consumers using Elixir, GraphQL and distributed systems.

Develop high quality, innovative, flexible, and scalable technical solutions for the Gartner Digital Markets sites Work on critical applications for the Gartner Digital Markets brands Increase adoption of API platform by designing GraphQL schema which is intuitive to discover and explore data What you’ll bring to the team.
Experience in Elixir Experience building large-scale GraphQL API Experience building data models with both SQL and NoSQL databases Experience contributing to critical and scaled production systems Experience and insight into metrics and alerting (Datadog, OpenTelemetry) Modern development practices leveraging cloud services and CI/CD Good communication skills in articulating technical choices and cross team collaboration skills  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus Verbal English skills (we work in English!)
