This position will have responsibilities across the companies ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a range of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson's procedures and guidelines, this position.
•    Applies an intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments or related fields.
•    He makes independent decisions about engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization at conferences to resolve important questions and for the planning and coordination of work.
•    It requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of its field and related sciences and disciplines.
•    Supervision and guidance related to requirements, critical situations, new concepts and policy issues.
•    Consult with the supervisor regarding unusual problems and developments.
•    Responsible for one or more of the following points.

Evaluates the feasibility and robustness of  proposed  engineering  evaluation  tests, products or equipment when the necessary information is insufficient or confirmation by means of tests is recommended.
•    It serves as a staff consultant in a technical specialty, an installation or equipment time, or the function of a program.
•    You can technically supervise, coordinate and review the work of a small team of engineers and technical staff, estimate the necessary manpower and scheduling and assign the work to meet the completion date, or, as an individual researcher or specialist staff, you can be assisted in projects by other engineers or technicians.
•    Practices the company's safety and quality policies and procedures.

Qualifications EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION •    Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and six or more years of related engineering experience; or •    Master's degree in a relevant discipline and five or more years of related engineering experience; or •    PhD in a relevant discipline and four or more years of related engineering experience.
•    He has significant engineering experience at a complex level.
•    Experience in the medical device industry is considered a plus.
•    Knowledge in Six Sigma, preferably.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS* •    Must possess a clear mastery of the practical, theoretical and experimental foundations of engineering techniques.
•    Communication skills in English, spoken and written.
