SUPERVISOR, FACILITIES/MAINTENANCE

Janssen Biologics Leiden’s Make Asset Management (MAM) team is responsible for Life Cycle Management of manufacturing and utilities assets.
The MAM team has three key functions.
Execution Systems (Automation), Engineering and Maintenance.  Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the reliability of manufacturing assets and utilities, through preventive and corrective workorders.
The Maintenance team consists of Supervisors, Technicians, Engineers and Specialists, partly working in 24/7 shifts.
Due to expansion, we are currently looking for a Supervisor to lead one of our teams.  As an enthusiastic people leader with strong leadership and technical capabilities, you will lead a technical team and build the team’s capabilities.
You will contribute in further shaping the maintenance organization and promoting a culture of diversion, equity and inclusion.
  You will maximize the engagement and performance of assigned individuals through effective leadership, communications and administration of the Performance and Development Process, ensuring that all work is completed effectively and in compliance with Company Policies, EHS guidelines and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) This position reports to the Site Maintenance lead.
  Responsibilities The Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of system and maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors in assigned areas through execution of the daily schedule, and responding to emergency or urgent work orders.
Together, you will improve reliability, increase uptime, reduce safety and compliance risks.
As a people leader you will spend a large part of your time on coaching the employees within your team on operational work, their development, promoting our Credo culture.
 You will need to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners and stakeholders to drive reliable execution of maintenance in a changing environment.
You will participate in audits and inspections for EHS, quality and risk management.
You will participate in the 24/7 ‘on call’ rotation for business continuity purposes with the other Supervisors.
Qualifications People management experience and a track record of engaging, empowering and developing talent.
Experience in a GMP regulated environment of 5+ years (preferred) End to end mindset.
Ability to switch between strategical and operational thinking and to manage change.
The ability to collaborate effectively with different levels in the organization at local and at global level Decision making and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of process excellence and project management tools.
Technical knowledge of digitization technology, manufacturing assets and processes.
