The Resource (Project Manager with expertise in Google Cloud Platform GCP), will play a key role in driving critical cloud migration projects for a leading company in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities.
Lead the migration of current infrastructure to Google Cloud.
Manage the migration of databases from DB2 to PostgreSQL.
Oversee the project aimed at decommissioning non-core functionalities from the AS400 system, enhancing system efficiency and performance.
design and implement robust cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
guarantee the delivery of projects within the established deadlines.
Monitor project progress continuously and make adjustments as needed.
Report regularly to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects, specifically with Google Cloud Platform.
Strong technical background with a deep understanding of database technologies, including DB2 and PostgreSQL.
Experience in managing AS400 systems and familiarity with decommissioning processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
fluent knowledge of the English language Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
