About the job In this position, you strengthen our global brand position by developing and implementing marketing strategies, as you lead and evolve our global business marketing function into the digital era.
Taking ownership of our brand strategy, you secure that our brand identity is developed, described, measured, followed and executed in all elements external and internal.
This includes ensuring that brand, product, and offer marketing strategies are effectively executed and supporting business success and achievements.
By driving our company image and perception, you efficiently support our digital shift and sustainability agenda.
You’re also accountable for our internal and external communication where strategy communication is one important area – including vision, purpose, core values, focus areas and strategic initiatives.
Other areas are crisis communication as well as business and organizational updates.
You establish relations and collaborations with relevant stakeholders to effectively form strong networks and steer it to reach common goals.
By actively promoting communication and information exchange to other departments, you continuously promote our brand and take the initiative to suggest opportunities for improvements.
You report to the President of Seco and are an active member of the Seco Management Group (SMG) and the SMS Communications and Brand management team.
The location for this role is flexible within Europe and global travel is included.
Your profile We’re looking for an experienced leader with a relevant university degree and extensive experience in communications and marketing – combined with a background of leading other leaders.
Through your global experience you have gained the capability of managing, leading and motivating a virtual and international organization in a fast-paced environment, and you’re good at mixing a long-term strategic view with short-term actions when needed.
We operate worldwide, which calls for an open mind and cultural awareness – you're used to working cross both functions and borders and you need excellent communication skills in English.
You have a genuine desire to drive change and enable growth, and your leadership style is based on trust, transparency, and collaboration.
Being self-motivated and confident in your profession, you also know how to prioritize, creatively solve problems on the go, and you’re able to see the big picture.
With your excellent communication skills, you have good abilities to cooperate and establish networks internally and externally on an international basis.
