WATER PROCESS DESIGN ENGINEER

We’re currently seeking a Water Process Design Engineer to provide additional water and wastewater process engineering expertise to the Ireland & UK Water Team, supporting the delivery of both current and pipeline water services projects. Key Accountabilities • A strong understanding of the principles of water treatment and/or wastewater & industrial effluent treatment • Experience in the development of process solutions in industrial and municipal settings, and in accordance with specifications used in Ireland and United Kingdom • Experience in process selection, process design, application engineering, proposal support and operational support • Experience in the development of the whole cycle of the treatment process from the concept to the detailed design stage • Experience in the preliminary and detailed design of water / wastewater treatment plants based on data provided and achieved the desired treatment criteria • Demonstrate an ability to develop drawings of equipment and plant layouts as required developing PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Process & Instrumentation Drawings) • Demonstrate an ability to develop process mass balance, hydraulic, energy, mechanical calculations as part of the detailed design • Demonstrate an ability to understand complex problems and to conceive innovative solutions • Has a strong work ethic, capable of working on their own initiative with proven strong problem-solving skills • Can effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships, always aim to exceed client expectations • Is committed to Continued Professional Development and remains up to date with current developments in the industry · Integrate within our multi-disciplinary design team to deliver robust design solutions to clients · Interface with other engineering disciplines including civil, M&E and structural · Ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior staff · Ability to manage a challenging workload · A team player with good inter-personal skills · Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health & Safety Regulations · Management of projects in compliance with Ayesa's Integrated Management System (IMS) We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
