WIRE HARNESS CAD DESIGNER (2D & 3D)

For our Tunisia Department, we are looking for Wire Harness Cad Designers (2D & 3D) . Engineers that are able to analyze the technical specification and the component development plan, organize a work plan for oneself and for a team in order to be able to respect the various development phases and to be able to coordinate the various technical teams participating in the common project (simultaneus engineering). Ability to interface with product suppliers and with the end customer - participation in meetings - ability to analyze individual problems - participate in the study of solutions - analyze the benefits (costs and times) and be able to update the management plan development to avoid final delays on the program - ability to control and manage technical documents (e.g. BOM). Ability to use 3D CAD systems for cable routing analysis in the different areas of the vehicle (Front - Dashboard-Rear-Doors…). Interfacing with the CAD Team that carries out the study of the cable passage giving suggestions and verifying the real feasibility, based on experiences and sharing with other bodies. Main tasks: • 3D Cad Design - Design and develop the wiring layout studies (routing & installation) Studies of fixing systems for wiring and ECU installation (clips, flat raceways, brackets, gaskets ..). • 2D Cad Design - Creation of the wiring constructive tables (Formboard) containing all the mechanical information (dimensions and protections) and electrical Wire-list / Connector list and compilation of the BOM. Technical requirements: • Knowledge of the standards and the rules for wiring routing using CAD system UG NX and / or CATIA 5, CATIA 6 with Wiring applications tools (for 3D CAD activity). • Capital Harness by Mentor Graphics (for 2D Cad activity). • Knowledge of the Vobes process. • Knowledge of the product development methodology and wiring harnesses manufacturing process is an esteemed plus. Soft Skills: Good communication and synthesis skills Comfortable around top management Availability to travel Language skills: Fluent written and spoken English. Basic Italian is appreciated (but not necessary).
