Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. The Workforce Security Planning Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the security of our organization’s venues, both competitive and non-competitive. This position involves strategic resource planning, coordination, and allocation of security personnel across various locations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in workforce planning, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in complex and structured environments. Key Deliverables: · Resource Assessment and Planning: Collaborate with security team and stakeholders to assess security needs for each specific venue. Analyse historical data, event schedules, and risk assessments to determine optimal staffing levels. Develop workforce plans that align with organizational goals and security requirements. · Staff Allocation and Deployment: Coordinate the deployment of security personnel to venues based on workload, event schedules, and risk profiles. Ensure efficient utilization of security resources while maintaining security standards. Monitor staffing levels during events and adjust as needed. · . Mobility and Flexibility: Be prepared for travel to different venues as required. Adapt to changing priorities and respond swiftly to emerging security needs. · Collaboration: Work closely with the Security Requirements Definition Manager to align workforce planning with overall security strategy. Collaborate with HR, operations, and venue management teams to ensure seamless execution. · Data Analysis and Reporting: . Knowledge, skills, experience: . Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, Business Administration). · Proven experience in large workforce planning, ideally in security or related fields. · Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Familiarity with security protocols and risk management. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.erformance metrics.
