Business controller

In this position I manage the finance controlling team composed by 2 persons, and support the General Manager in strategic decisions, evaluating their financial implications and recommended actions in order to reach local and global challenging targets. I act as business partner to support all other business functions. Moreover, I continue my activities as business controller (see below).

I oversee P&L financial analysis (actual periods deviations, yearly budget, monthly forecasts, business evaluation, ad hoc analysis report) of the 4 (out of 6) Product Groups of the unit, supervising the business planning process (cash flow, NWC and inventory control), managing controlling model (cost centers, hourly rates and overhead cost model definition) evaluating financial implications of diverse business decisions. Moreover, I lead and support improvement projects (OPEX and cost out programs).

As part of controlling team, I supported the Business Unit controller in the main controlling activities such as forecasting and budgeting; I oversaw in my area of responsibility the principle tasks related to USGAAP monthly report (month closing activities, manual journal entries and reporting package tasks), R&D controlling activities, CAPEX evaluation, monthly project review with project managers and prepared various reports for the Local Business Manager and other functions responsible in order to understand business development.
