Worked as Assistant Manager Performance, HSE & Engineering in a 248MW combined cycle power generation plant

ACHIEVEMENTS:

1. Optimized maintenance schedule to reduce downtime which increased the machine's reliability by 2% and availability by 3%.
2. Updated SAP ERP PM module to improve predictive maintenance which resulted in a significant reduction of equipment Breakdowns.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performance analysis of power generation, energy efficiency & KPI‘s monitoring of Gas & Steam turbines and supporting auxiliaries and provide recommendations for energy process optimization.
2. Identifying abnormalities and developing feasible solutions: using various problem-solving techniques: root cause analysis (RCA) & Failure Tree Analysis (FTA) & Fish Bone Diagram.
3. Energy performance analysis and O&M cost monitoring and communicating to top management on monthly basis.
4. To manage and improve the effectiveness of maintenance planning and process optimization using SAP PM module.

LEARNING & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Successfully completed quarter-yearly rotations in three business areas: power plant Operations, Plant Maintenance & Performance Management
2. Developed extensive understanding of energy industry and power plants with special focus on Industrial Safety and First Aid Trainings

Specialization: Energy for development track. My study is aimed at the development of specific technologies and the energy analysis of different scenarios for the sustainability of energy systems in diverse areas.

Research thesis: Experimental investigation of unconfined NG/H2 flames morphology in a double swirl burner at Combustion and Optical Diagnostic Lab.
The thesis is aimed at studying the flame morphology by using image processing technique and developing a mix of synthetic gas that can reduce emissions without compromising flame stability and help promote energy transition
