In situ assessment of production and process plant to maximise the oil and water recovery and conduct to the process stability. The process was characterised by instable operating conditions; thanks to the introduction of new operation strategy and a new control philosophy, the process was stabilised and production increased. Slug was well managed, water production for well injection increased and contained BSW was obtained, although process design limitations. Separation stages were optimised, process operating conditions changed. Management of the process system during shut-down followed by loss of power generation (necessary for all wells and centre of production), supporting the well and process restart operation and coordinating the operations during emergency scenario (loss of control room screens by electrical issue). Commissioning of the new power generation. Suggestion to prioritise process variables, recommendation of the process operating conditions, design and construction of the fuel gas system to recover the gas to be utilised in the power generation. Wax management for the crude oil export line, operating wells start-up strategy and process shut-down.

Revamping due to additional wells production.
Responsible as technical lead (7 persons) for process design and control system philosophy. Supervision, control, review and co-ordination of Process Engineering development. Activities executed are:
1.	Review and assessment of existing facilities, new configuration feasibility, checks on separation units and hydraulics, defining new routes, dismantling activities and blowdown philosophy;
2.	Revision and completion of P&ID’s and H&MB's, PFD, UFD, equipment and utility consumption list, technical DS;
3.	PSVs sizing, multiphase control valve sizing, depressurization verification, flare thermal radiation and Fire and gas system verification, implementation of Hazid and Hazop actions;
4.	Realization of ESD/PSD block diagram, Cause and Effects matrix, control narrative, metering philosophy;
5.	Related reports, MTO, calculation sheets.
Supporting the client in plant operation solution, sequence of construction and strategy to minimize system shutdown, loss/reduction of production and procurement constraints. Interfaces lead.
Contribution in Company management for bid definition, participation at tender meetings for FEED and EPC works. Preparation and revision of technical documentation, definition of Scope of Work for the Execution phase, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities, supply requirements and specifications, procurement procedures, construction quality control plan, quality management system.


Construction and Pre-Commissioning. Providing support in the yard to the Project Team on project issues, i.e. equipment positioning, piping lay-out variation, hydraulic test. Aligning the technical documentation with modifications needed during the construction. Participate in weekly meetings with the Company and coordinating Company request with engineering execution team.
Interface lead for the assessment of safety solution to be implemented to ensure SIL-3 in WHP4 platform. Analysis of stand-alone HIPPS system or integrated system within the platform control logics, feasibility to install a skid mounted HIPPS vs loose items due to the vertical installation required, lay-out, materials and compatibility with existing flowlines. Collaborating for delivering the docs of design, fabrication and testing of HIPPS systems (to prevent any over pressure of WHP4 Oil and Gas facilities, providing a barrier between the High P and Low P sides of the process plant). Revision of documents (TDS, IDS, RDDS, Supply Spec) to be provided to the Company and Suppliers. Review and comment of engineering and vendor documentation.

Responsible for equipment and facilities (flare, chemical injection, closed drain, oily water treatment) design. Onshore plant design and existing platform revamping, finding solutions to interconnect two required chemical systems. Set-up of control system for the glycol regeneration unit to be confirmed by package vendors. Preparing the ESD/PSD block diagram, defining shut-down levels required to units. Developing the plant operating philosophy, preparing P&IDs, UFDs, TDs, Equipment Summary, Control Philosophy, verification of chemical injection requirement and chemicals unit design (integrated work with FA). Carried out relief load calculations (cold and hot depressurization) and PSV sizing. Active cooperation with other disciplines.
