Cover letter
I did my bachelor degree in “Textile engineering” and after
two years of job in technical textile I decided to do my masters in “Management Engineering”.
I have now two and half year experience in "Planning & production" with different projects attached to international Clients (Turkish, USA, and China). Luckily I cover all the areas of operations in Home textile, blended fabric and technical textile (protective shoes,
gloves & jackets). These products have more than 90 technical operations which really polished my innovative & Management craft. I was also directly associated with customer’s feedback
about the product & reporting back those problems to production department to come up with a proper solution. One of the contribution was taking an initiative of a "Training center"
to create an extra assembly line in our stitching department. That was a huge “job enlargement” and “job enrichment” contribution to the company.
My Job description also included:
1. Effective use of Supply chain and inventory management techniques (MRP-Material required
Planning)
2. Lean manufacturing & Process Simulation of production.
3. Maintenance and Quality control of Quilting, Lining and Technical Textile products and
Machinery.
4. "Production planning & Control" (PPC),
5. Local level customer collaboration, and manage the relationship with the third party manufacturer, and aligning supply plan with the company inventory targets (inventory and Logistics management)
In different international client meetings I did immense extempore presentations which really polished me how to work under pressure. I would love the opportunity to speak with you if you feel I would be a strong candidate for this or any position in your company.
I would just like to wish you all the best for this piece of recruitment.
Kind regards,
Khizar Hayat
