OUR TEAM IIT is seeking applications for one administrative candidate to be employed with the Higher Education Office.
The selected candidate will operate the complete process related to the involvement of students - mostly enrolled in a Ph.
.
program - within IIT research activities, assisting the current office in the following tasks.
our main responsibilities will be.
rganization and management of educational events;Maintenance of an existing IIT-run PhD course; this includes a) supporting the recruitment of students, b) monitoring their progression students, in collaboration with relevant Universities, and c) organizing lectures and examinations;Support to budgeting PhD positions and cost reporting, including the organization of payments toward Universities;Inclusion in IIT workforce, with related data management;Monitoring and updating procedures related to IIT higher education activities;Internal communication with administrative offices and research lines involved;External communication with Universities and providers of educational activities.
SSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS High School License, and/or a Master or Bachelor degree in Economics, Management, Humanities and Scientific disciplines;Professional command of English;Full knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Teams);Strong communication skills, with particular emphasis active listening, open-mindedness, patience;Experience with the organization of recruitment (incl.
budget checks), business trips, and incoming visits and endo contractualization;Ability to work in an international, challenging environment;Demonstrated interest in storytelling, pedagogy and psychology;Strong collaborative %26amp; organizational skills, proactive attitude for problem solving, relational, discretion, rigor and tidiness.
minimum of a short-cycle (2-year) tertiary education diploma encompassing digital disciplines.
DDITIONAL SKILLS Work knowledge of at least a second foreign language, and ideally a third one;Basic knowledge ofIT security matters;Strong motivation to learn;Spirit of innovation and creativity;Excellent time and priority management;Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment.
