  Role Overview The Assistant Manager of Professional Education at Ethicon is tasked with spearheading the creation and implementation of the company’s professional education strategy within the Indian healthcare realm.
This individual will lead efforts in designing comprehensive learning pathways, pioneering innovative hybrid educational methodologies for improved accessibility, fostering external partnerships, and integrating state-of-the-art technologies and teaching approaches.
Collaboration with the Asia Pacific regional team and Ethicon’s Business teams is crucial to ensure seamless execution of medical education initiatives.
This role demands a deep understanding of India’s clinical educational landscape and its regional nuances, enabling the crafting of a tailored Professional Education strategy.
It's essential to note that this position involves direct interaction with healthcare professionals (HCPs), necessitating the delivery of educational programs by the incumbent themselves.
Ultimately, success in this role contributes to advancing patient outcomes through a thoughtfully curated portfolio of educational offerings.
Job Responsibilities 1.      Develop a comprehensive understanding of the clinical educational landscape across India and its regions to formulate an effective Professional Education strategy aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
2.      Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs), Business Unit leaders and Marketing teams to design and develop tailored Professional Education courses.
3.      Implement Professional Education strategy for HCPs engagement with regard to safe and effective usage of Ethicon Products.
4.      Work closely with Johnson & Johnson Institutes to facilitate hands-on training 5.      Ensure seamless integration and efficient utilization of digital education tools, including virtual reality (VR), online platforms, and the company website, to enhance the learning experience for healthcare professionals.
6.      Take the lead in creating and adhering to Agreed upon Necessary Actions (ANA) for Ethicon in India, overseeing compliance processes, timely disbursement of event costs, and post-event reconciliation with the Healthcare Compliance Committee (HCC) by analyzing budget templates.
7.      Identify, onboard and train faculties to support our Professional Education Program 8.      Work closely with faculty members to ensure the successful execution of educational programs.
9.      Work closely with medical colleges, academic institutions, medical association and drive Professional education programs.
10.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful execution of programs on the ground.
11.
Coordinate with external partners to create promotional materials and manage their distribution around educational events, maximizing visibility and engagement.
12.
Responsible for the ProfEd Program & Feedback dashboard dashboard of One Ethicon franchises.
Qualifications Role Requirements.
·       Education.
Post-graduate degree or diploma in business management (MBA preferred) ·       Minimum 5 years of working experience.
·       (Desirable) Experience in professional or commercial education; in developing and implementing fully integrated learning solutions.
·       (Desirable) Experience in leading businesses, with proven ability to understand business strategy and translate it into education solutions (Professional, Commercial and Marketing Education) that support the company’s business goals.
·       Excellent communication, analytical, conflict management, complex project management are required.
·       Demonstrated ability to use digital tools (Learning Management Systems) for training and education.
·       High technological and business aptitude is required.
·       Medical ethics and compliance.
·       Strong ability to embrace innovation and drive new thinking in the rapidly changing Healthcare Environment.
·       Analytical abilities and solution orientation and proven ability to handle complexity & thrives in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances.
·       Strong organizational leadership, with ability to inspire and mobilize different business units and functions in a matrix environment.
