HEAD CHEF

Company Description We’re looking for a passionate Head Chef to take over the helm at Chet’s at The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush.
Chet’s is a Thai-Americana spot combining the fragrant flavours and smoky textures of Thailand and the surrounding region with comforts from the classic American diner in the heart of our hotel.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director of The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush and with a dotted line to the VP Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for the managing of all kitchen teams and back of house F&B spaces, as well as menu development with the support of our creative team while driving the business to achieve the budgeted KPI’s.
The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush is our fourth London Hoxton and located in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, in the beating heart of an eclectic and diverse neighbourhood, with 237 playfully designed bedrooms and an all-day restaurant - Chet’s serving Thai American comfort food.

What you’ll do… Lead your hotel management team in the successful operation of The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush.
Take full responsibility for the commercial success of the property.
Make sure our brand standards are properly brought to life in how we ground the brand in the local market & neighbourhood.
Lead by example in creating a brilliant experience for our guests that exceeds their expectations and builds a great reputation for The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush.
Make our own people a real focus, creating an environment where they feel supported, have opportunities to grow, and enjoy what they do! Play a key role in managing the relationship with the central teams and owners.
And everything else in-between… What we’re looking for… You are an experienced, commercially savvy operator and have prior experience in a similar role.
Someone with a passion for hospitality, you inspire an enthusiastic guest-centred approach.
You have a hands-on approach and are willing to roll up your sleeves and work shifts if required, side by side with the team.
You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail.
You are a natural at leading and managing others, and you lead by example, creating an environment where your team can be their best self.
