Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee all aspects of our vibrant and dynamic establishment.
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Monkey Bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving financial performance.
Responsibilities.
Operational Management.
Oversee all operational aspects of Monkey Bar, including but not limited to staffing, inventory management, vendor relationships, and overall restaurant efficiency.
Team Leadership.
Lead and inspire a diverse team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and administrative personnel.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
Guest Experience.
Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
Address guest feedback and strive to continuously improve service standards.
Financial Performance.
Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
Monitor and achieve revenue targets, control expenses, and manage inventory effectively.
Training and Development.
Implement and oversee a comprehensive training program for all staff members to ensure consistency in service quality and adherence to company standards.
Compliance and Safety.
Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.
Maintain a safe and sanitary restaurant environment at all times.
Marketing and Promotion.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities, events, and marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase sales.
Qualifications Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, staffing, and financial management.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
