We currently have an opportunity for a talented Security Manager to join our iconic hotel, Four Seasons Milano in Italy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK for the position.
The successful candidate will respond to the relevant Director or designated, and will be required to.
manage and supervise the day-to-day security force of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel, and property review and conduct performance evaluations for Security staff implement all FS policies and procedures regarding security and safety design and implement preventive safety and security programs, and any project working with RSPP and RLS lead processed and investigate crimes committed against the hotel, guests, and employees with the support of hotel management staff and P&C team whenever employees might be involved plan and organize mandatory H&S trainings document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities, and insurance requirements assist hotel staff in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to, disorderly conduct, thefts, suicides, bomb threats, employee or guest accidents, fire or safety hazards, robberies, terrorist activities, civil disturbances power of elevator failures, medical assistance, and natural disasters select, train, schedule, discipline, and direct security personnel (in or outsourced) in all aspects of security policies and procedures keep abreast of developments within the hotel and community as they relate to security as well as act as a liaison with local law-enforcement agencies remain informed of current Federal and local laws and regulations as they relate to the hotel, particularly in areas of guest, patron, and employee rights take an active role in the implementation of the hotel’s fire plan including the General Communication Center, the Command Post, all technical equipment, and the roles each employee/manager plays take responsibility for all training related to the hotel’s emergency procedures test the hotel’s Fire and Emergency Response preparedness together with other designated personnel chair the Health and Safety Committee in the hotel, the Lead with Care Committee, and any other security task force control the key, lock system, alarm system, and fire protection system (in coordination with Engineering) respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS We are looking for individuals who have.
min 2/3 years experience in security management, preferably with a minimum of 2 years experience in a hotel.
Project Management, People Management, Accountability and Business acumen Skills Relevant academic qualifications (BSc level) in Security, Criminology, Risk Management Analysis, or others highly desired Knowledge of first aid, fire fighting, and crowd control.
