Process engineer

The role that I hold entails the coordination and supervision of the process design activities of Oil & Gas plants on behalf of foreign and national oil companies.
Here below a list of the main activities that I coordinated and supervised:
‐ Equipment and Machineries Datasheet filling: pumps, compressors,vessels, tanks , columns and trays, filters, shell&tube exchangers and air cooler;
‐ Instrumentation Datasheet filling: control valves, on‐off valves, flow elements, safety valves and analyzers;
‐ Hydraulic calculation and line, vessel, machineries, control valves and
safety valves sizing;
‐ Electrical Area Classification
‐ Utilities, Catalyst and Chemical consumption, Electrical load summaries filling;
‐ Issue of the following document: P&IDs, PFDs, Heat and Material balance, Process Description, Interlock description, Cause&Effect Diagram, Control Description;
‐ Hazop analysis attendance;
‐ Interface activities with the various section of Engineering (Instrumentation&Automation, Electrical, Civil, Piping, Machinery, PVHE,
Heaters & Boilers) and Start‐up, Maintenance and Construction Departments;
‐ Comment to Vendors documentation

I worked as a Process Field Engineer at a construction site in Bulgaria for a complex refinery unit (Heavy Residue Hydrocracker), giving support to the construction, pre‐commissioning, commissioning and start‐up teams.
For the same project, I supported the Instrumentation&Automation department for 2 months during the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at the supplier’s factory of the DCS‐ESD system
