CFO_SHORT-TERM DEBT ORIGINATION & PRIVATE PLACEMENT DESK PROFESSIONAL

Scope and Purpose   Develop relationships with new and existing institutional investors, focusing on Intesa Sanpaolo short term funding needs and with particular focus on the European market Keep abreast of the market conditions and liaise with peers, dealers and investors Develop Short-Term funding (Commercial Papers “CPs”, Certificates of Deposit “CDs” and Short-Term Euro Medium Term Note); execute deals with investors (from pricing to closing) Contribute to internal reporting that goes to top management; Coordinate internally with the relevant functions for the onboarding of new clients, documentation requirements and regulatory changes Prepare analytical analysis and presentation material in Excel and PowerPoint for Head Office and the top management, communicate efficiently while demonstrating deep knowledge of the market and relevant products Maintain knowledge of accounting and trade processes as well as develop the understanding of the investors’ perspective/needs/limitations Support the EU Head of International Short-Term Debt Origination & Private Placement in strategic developments for the EU markets Drive process optimization via cross-platform automation (Bloomberg, front-office systems, Pack Office) Enhance reporting through automation, dual-source data, and accessible updates on tools like Power BI for informed decisions Travel, as needed, to attend conferences and seminars.
Required Experience   Minimun 5 years in similar role Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge   Deep knowledge and mastery of Short-Term paper markets, both in terms of products and market players/investors behaviours; Understanding of financial product (Bonds, swaps) and concepts (forward valuation) Skills and ability to relate at senior level with portfolio managers in understanding their needs and in proposing effective and winning solutions Attention to details especially when producing data reporting Excellent knowledge of Excel, VBA, Kondor, cross platform automation and Bloomberg in mining, analysing and presenting data Ability to work under tight deadlines Languages.
Fluent English.
Business French, Spanish, German or Italian would be a plus Education, Business Degree, CFA a plus.
