P&L responsibility for the Film Business Unit ($150M/year of revenue), which includes seven Manufacturing Plants located in Europe and Asia as well as multinational R&D,Quality and Product Management teams (around 2200 employees worldwide).

My priority in this role has been to develop and implement a new strategy aimed at establishing KEMET as Technology Leader in the Film Capacitors industry and eventually improve Revenue and Margins. To do that I:
• created a new management team of the Business Unit, promoting a few strong “core” people available inside and hiring fresh talents from outside;
• worked with the Product Management and R&D teams on a new R&D Roadmap (new products and new materials) and on a new approach to the market;
• invested in new talents and technologies at all levels of the organization supporting the newly created strategy.
Additional to the above I have been promoting cost reduction and performance improvement activities at all the Manufacturing Plants of the Business Unit at global level, extending the strategy deployment approach I designed and implemented during my years as leader of the EMEA Manufacturing Organization.
